TCM Shave Cream 12oz

This is a great shaving cream, it lathers really well, goes on smoothly and smells great 5/5 Stars all the way!

Purchased as a gift for my husband. He says it works great for a straight razor shave and so far it's by far his favorite one to use (has trailed several over the past month)

More ingredients than I would of liked in it but it has a pleasant scent to it, goes on smooth and glides off even smoother with razor. Helps with making hairs the perfect texture to get a close shave.The more you work with cream on face, the more it lathers up.Manufactured in the US.Mentions infused with Moringa Oil and Sunflower seed oil but those two ingredients are not at the top of the ingredient list so I am not sure how much really of those two ingredients are in there.

My husband has been using this cream for about a month. He has had no issue with skin irritation or dryness from using this cream. It is lightly scented which i like. His skin feels smooth and nicely hydrated after shaving. It rinses cleanly and works well with his shaving routine.

TCM Men's Shave Cream was a wonderful surprise. I've never used a product like this one before. No more shaving foam from aerosol cans for me. I prefer this shaving cream from TCM. The TCM cream looks like a small tub of whipped cream from the dessert aisle in the grocery store's freezer section. It is white and creamy and smells pleasantly masculine like clean laundry. I dab some on my fingers, rub my palms together, and then smear it all over my face until it lathers. It feels very pleasant; it doesn't burn my skin. I use a manual hand-held razor. Ever since I have been using TCM Men's Shave Cream, I've been having closer, more comfortable shaves. After I have finished shaving, the cream is easy to wash off. It doesn't leave a sticky, uncomfortable residue. Most importantly, I've been using this product for two weeks and haven't experienced any ill or adverse side effects such as hives; blisters; acne; itchy, cracked, or red skin; etc. My only issues are a lack of an expiration date (many hygiene products don't have them, but they should) and no protection. The large round, short tub didn't come in a box. It didn't have any shrink-wrapping and there wasn't any type of protective seal beneath the lid. The tub could've spilled or leaked during shipping and someone could've easily tampered with its contents. (There are a lot of sick people in this world.) I strongly suggest that the company work to rectify these aforementioned problems because, otherwise, this is a very good product. For anyone who desires a comfortable shave, I highly recommend the TCM Men's Shave Cream. Also, when I was looking at the ingredients, I was very pleased to see Shea Butter, Aloe Leaf Juice, and Cucumis Cucumber Extract listed. These are all very good for your skin. I always try to purchase body lotion that has aloe in it, which heals damaged skin. Currently, I am using a facial treatment regimen that contains a lot of vegetable ingredients such as cucumber. Cucumber refreshes and hydrates one's skin and prevents puffiness.

This product comes in a 12 oz container - quite large. The product itself is quite creamy and does not lather up as well as the product I typically use (The Body Shop brand). Consequently, I find I am using more of the cream to get the same shave - so the larger size of the item may not result in a longer lifespan.The fragrance is quite pleasant - not at all overpowering. Overall, this product works fine but I feel it is overpriced compared to other shaving cream products.

I get a good shave with this cream, and the scent isn't bad. It moisturizes and lubricates well, so my skin isn't at all irritated afterward. It doesn't lather up much compared to my usual foamy gels, so I prefer to use a brush to apply it.So I like it, but is it worth ten times the price of a can of Barbasol? Not sure. But if cheaper creams leave your skin irritated, it's certainly worth a try.

It doesn't win any beauty contests sitting there in the tub looking like canned cake icing, yet hours later the aftermath of the shave is still smooth, hydrated skin.You can cheat and just smear it on your face, wetting it and scrubbing it around, but for maximum lather, put it in a bowl and whip it up with a shaving brush. There really isn't much lather, but it seemed thick and helped my razor glide.The scent Is barely perceptible, which is fine with me.It is a big jar: lots of product- perfectly happy with it.

This shaving cream is good but it has it's issues.I like that it's easy to use by just scooping some shaving cream out of the container and applying it to my face.However, it doesn't lather up as well as some gel shaving creams or even some that squeeze out of containers.Furthermore, some of the shaving cream inevitably gets wasted because it's on your hands which isn't great.Also, the initial scent is a sterile clean smell but once you start using it then only the scent starts turning out to be bad.After three uses, I've had a scent occur which can be best described as a wet dog type of smell occur.Maybe that's only me but that is my experience.All in all it's a decent shaving cream but definitely nothing to write home about.

This shaving cream is so smooth and slick feeling on the skin. The scent is light and pleasant, not cologne-y at all. So easy to get a close shave with this, and skin feels moisturized after use. The tub has a good amount in it and a little goes a long way, so it will last a good time. Great for hair on the face as well as legs etc. I like it!

Nice clean aquatic scent. Lather is fairly slick and provides a good shave. Good value for the price

I used this shave cream and immediately felt that is was softening and moisturizing to my skin. The razor glided easily over my legs and left my skin feeling so soft. The scent wasn't strong so, as a woman, I could use this shaving cream, as well as my husband.

TCM Shaving Cream has average performance, scent, and post-shave. It's nothing to write home about for several reasons. The cream lathers up easily enough, but the lather evaporates quickly and is not very dense. It has good slickness, but certainly is not elite. The scent is very faint, like a 2 or 3 on a scale from 1 to 10. I will say that I got a smooth, relatively irritation free shave, but I chalk that up to me using a new Rockwell blade in my Charcoal Goods razor and not so much this shaving cream. One benefit you get is the amount of shaving cream in the tub. It has about 3 times what you get from the higher end artisan shaving creams/soaps (e.g. Noble Otter, Ariana & Evans, Taylor of Old Bond Street, Arsenal Grooming, Fine Accoutrements, Murphy & McNeil, etc.). I do like that it contains skin nourishing oils and a light, pleasant scent. That's about it. For me, it's not worth $18-$20 when I can get a far superior shave using one of the artisan shave soaps for around the same price. Heck, I prefer Proraso shaving soap when compared to TCM, and it's half the price!

For this review I compared TCM to Taylor of Old Bond Street and Stephan shave cream. Lather was a cross between Old Bond and Stephan. Medium grade and I thought the lather dissipated quickly. Which my wife suggested that it was my skin absorbing the moisturizer (I agreed). TCM had a nice light scent and helped provide a close shave. I would still rate Old Bond as number one because of the thick lather. However, TCM rates just as good if not a little better then Stephan shaving cream. Solid 4 star.

I really enjoyed this product it irritation-free shave cream. It has a wonderful smell. I used it today to shave great experience. I would recommend this product to any man looking for Excellence outcome.

Very Professional

I own a lot of shave soaps/creams. This shave cream is AWESOME . Lathers up perfectly with any type of water (hard or soft) . The ingredients are all great for my skin. After the shave your skin will feel refreshed and rejuvenated. The scent is very Aquatic and fresh scented . I Love it. Two thumbs up
