TCM Leave-In Beard Conditioner 7.5oz

The leave in conditioner is my go to whenever I’m out of the rinse out conditioner. Both products are amazing and leave my beard feeling thick and looking rich!

My husband loves this stuff. He has a nice beard and had had it for many years. Recently he started trying to grow it out a little more. However it always starts to go sideways. This leave in conditioner has helped so much. He has been able to tame his beard, make it soft, and it smalls great. Plus he can do all of this without his face breaking out.

My first impression was that the scent was strong. It reminded me of scent somewhere between the smell of coconut rum and a coconut cream pie.My first application was using it with a dry beard, and although it absorbed nicely, I didn't see any distinct difference right away in shine or hold. I wasn't totally sure that it was actually doing anything.Subsequent days I used it post-shower with a damp beard and it felt like a much more natural application. This experience has been unique among other leave-in beard conditioners that I have tried. In general I use more of this than other beard products each time. I've also learned the best application is to follow-up with a brushing using a big boar brush to spread out the conditioner after application.It arguably makes my beard softer to the touch, and I feel like it's not doing any harm, but I feel that it naturally lacks the ability to keep my beard's shape throughout the day. During stay-at-home times this is not a big deal at all, and I think it's perfectly acceptable to walk around the house with my beard still slightly wet in the morning, but if I was going into the office, this might only get use on weekends and holidays.And this is the strangest thing about this leave in conditioner: It appears to leave tiny residue that I sometimes notice when breathing out my nose. I can see a tiny cloud of reside when I exhale through my nose abruptly. I did get a second opinion and my wife can see it too. This isn't a show stopper, but I've never experienced this with another beard product, so I thought it was worth commenting on.As I mentioned I use a bit more with this conditioner than I have used with other leave-in conditioners, but I think that the significantly larger tub size for the same general price compensates for that.

I've been using this stuff for a few days now. It has definitely improved the texture of my beard, and I haven't had any tangles. Good stuff.
