The first day of summer is still a few weeks away in June, but most in the US consider Memorial Day weekend the unofficial start of summer. With the new season comes the thought of traveling and seeing family, friends or some new sights. While there are still restrictions due to the pandemic, and you may not want to deal with flying yet, you can still hook up that road trip and make a vacation happen on the road. There are probably some places you haven’t seen along the roads, parkways and highways throughout the country. You may even catch some history if you look for it. This summer, we are going to help you out on your travel agenda, we are introducing a blog series – Road Tripping. From Route 1 on the East Coast to the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) on the West Coast and everything in-between, it’s time to hit the road and enjoy the long days of summer.
Each month we will highlight a different part of the country – East, South, Midwest, and West – and interesting places you can check out if you are in the area, or willing to drive there, including some of our TCM favorites. We want to get you in on it too, so get ready to represent your region and tag us with your pics when you’re on the road.
Summer 2021 will likely still include some travel restrictions, but you can still get out, enjoy the season, and take in a visit to a new place. Hop on your favorite vacation rental or hotel site and get to making those reservations. We look forward to seeing your posts. Tag us at #TCMroadtripping #TCMLifestyle.
